Tagging a category to your challenges makes your challenge easier for other players to find (and do!). And the more exposure for your challenge, the better.
You are encouraged to tag a location to your challenge if it is restricted to a specific place, city or country. For generic challenges that can be done anywhere, tagging a location is not necessary.
Accepting a challenge will place it into your to-do list on GameMaki. A box should also appear, allowing you to claim the challenge on the spot if you have already done it. Otherwise, you can always opt to 'claim it later'. (You can reaccess the challenge from your to-do list.)
You claim a challenge only when you've already done it, and this will earn you points on the spot. Accepting a challenge will place it in your to-do list, and you have the option to claim it now or later.
Uh, yes. You can. But that's not honest, you naughty kiddo.
You need to join a game first before you can add your challenges to it.

However, if you've already joined a game and still can't contribute challenges, the creator of the game may have disallowed it. During game creation, you have the option to allow or disallow other players from contributing their challenges into your game.
No, you may not edit someone else's game. You may add your own challenges to a game if allowed by the game's creator.
Yes, you may remove your challenges if you change your mind later on.
Yes, you can moderate all contributions to your game if you are the game's creator. This means you can remove challenges added by others at your own will. However, do note that once removed, you can't add these challenges back (unless the creator of the challenge decides to add it back to your game ... again).
